Reading: We are continuing with our Lit groups. We will focus on the problems developing in the plot. You will get to use the Lego kits to create the most important event so far in the story. We may begin to see rising action this week as well. I have used one word from each group’s vocab list. You will continue filling out your notebooks on assignments, character traits, vocabulary, predictions, and thoughts.

Math: We will continue in chapter 12 lessons 7-11 on division.  Our test on chapter 12 will be Tuesday the fifth. .

Social Studies: We are still using chapter 11 in our Horizons text as our guide for our growing nation. We will cover lesson 3, The Age of Jackson and  The Indian Removal Act. We will also try to cover Lesson 4 on Manifest Destiny, The Republic of Texas, and The Oregon Trail.  

Science: We will cover energy resources, and take a test on Friday. We will try to get into at least the first lesson on sources electricity.
