Reading: We will begin Lit. groups again this week. You will select at book that sparks your interest, and groups will be formed. Your group will decide as a whole how much you will read nightly. You will have assignments in class that may need to be finished at home if you do not complete them. Your final project will be done in class and will be due on May 15th. We will review story elements this week.

Math: This week we will begin ch. 12 on division. We will try to complete lessons 1-5 in your hardback book. The coordinated homework in your workbooks will be from pages 141-145.

S.S:  We begin this fresh week, with a fresh topic. We will use chapter 11 in your Horizons text to help us navigate through the messy business of western expansion in the United States. The time line is roughly 1800-1850. It will take at least two weeks, maybe three to get through this  period in time. Look for sites on the blog to help.

Science: We will finally get back to energy. We will begin with the Electromagnetic Spectrum, and continue through visible light, and heat. We will finish our booklet next week, and should have part two of the test on Friday if all goes well.
