Reading: We moved the open book test on My Brother Martin on Tuesday. We will continue to learn about the Civil Rights Movement.  You will also work in your groups to make a trailer for The Giver using the five story elements. It will be due on Friday, the 23 since we will only be able to work on it in short bursts.

Math: Our test is scheduled for Friday, but it may need to be pushed into next week. This week we will cover chapter 7, lesson 7-10 that covers probability, events and outcomes, and problem solving strategies.  We will do the practice test on page 262. Homework will be on pages 91-94.

Science: You will be introduced to Ecology, the study of relationships among organisms and their environment. We have already touched on many aspects in Ecology, so we will move fairly quickly through this section. Continue to check my blog. 

Social Studies: I will continue reading Who Was Daniel Boone. We will learn more about the events that led to the Revolutionary War, and will debate our position as a loyalist, or a patriot.
