Social Studies and Reading will be connected for several weeks. There is so much to read that connects to colonial life and it all ties in with skills we learning in reading.   By combining these two subjects, it gives me more time incorporate art as well. Our focus will be the New England Colonies. We are finishing, What was the First Thanksgiving. Please see my blog for colonial links.

Math will begin in the text on page 192 thorough the end of the chapter. We will have a test Friday on chapter 5.

Science: Students are just finishing a mini-report on a vertebrate animal of their choice. We will continue to classify animals, and will begin life cycles of animals this week.
