Reading: We have finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.  L But, thanks to the help of your parents we get to have a Harry Potter themed Halloween party on Friday!  Thank you, parents, and especially Mrs. H for planning our party. J

We will also finish The Best Halloween Ever in our lit. groups. You will be choosing a creative book report project to work on in class next week. It will be done in class only.  

Math: We will continue chapter five. We will cover two and three-digit quotients through larger numbers in division, pages60-64. Our test will likely be next week on chapter 5.

Science: We will begin a new book on Zoology, Investigating Characteristics of Animals. We will begin to break down the classification of the Animal Kingdom, and we may begin the life cycle of vertebrate animals.

Social Studies: We are getting back to colonies. Tuesday we will finish our yard sale project by calculating profit, and what percentage we will be donating. On Wednesday we will review Jamestown and Plymouth colonies. We will also discuss and research the spread of colonists in the New World. Our connection in our text is pages 160-193.
